Nested in the beautiful Panjim City, this housing society is a stone’s throw away from the Miramar beach. The 8-storey residential complex houses hundreds of families. It is a project by the reputed construction group that offers smart home security, comfortable living, and world-class leisure activities to its residents. 

The society uses electricity for various amenities like operating elevators, pumps, garbage and water treatment plants, security systems, and lights. To minimize the operation costs of running these common amenities across 4 buildings, the group approached Sun360 to install a 15 KW solar power plant on its rooftop; the panels were installed over the RCC terrace using aerodynamic self-weight structures without drilling any holes in the roof to prevent water leakage. 

The 15 KW solar power plant yields several benefits to the residents of the Housing Society.

• The annual energy yield of the solar power system is more than 21,000 units & the housing society saves approximately INR 1 Lakh every year on electricity bills. 

• The solar power plant offsets over 15,300 Kg of Carbon Dioxide  annually. It is a green moment for every resident as they contribute towards mother nature as the carbon not emitted is equivalent to planting 675 trees
• The solar power plant has facilitated the society to receive more than INR 3 lakhs in government subsidy.

In a nutshell, the solar power system installed by Sun360 has immuned all the residents of the Housing Society from a future hike in tariff by the electricity department.
